Olivia started taking pictures for the Harbinger her freshman year after attending multiple staff meetings.  Although slow at first, she became more and more involved in the Harbinger.  She took more assignments and eventually became an assistant photo editor her sophomore year.  She has now taken the role of photo editor and will continue to use her passion for photography to take amazing pictures in the future.

After two weeks of remote learning, Algonquin students followed a hybrid plan to come back to school. Students were split into two cohorts, A and B, whose first day was Oct. 7 and Oct. 6 respectively.

Graduates of the class of 2020 came to Algonquin on July 30 to commemorate their high school experience. Although the graduates and guests were required to wear masks and stay six feet apart, this long awaited graduation was able to most closely resemble a normal ceremony.

On June 7, the class of 2020 and their families arrived to Algonquin to say one last goodbye to their high school experience in an unique alternative graduation ceremony that still allowed for students to walk across the stage and turn their tassels. Although families could not get out of the car, they still showed their support and excitement through decorations, horns, and lots of cheering.
