Faculty Friday: Jennifer Zuba

Rachel White, Staff Writer

Q: Favorite trip ever?

A: “It has to be a three-way tie between the Galapagos Islands, Turkey, and Dubrovnik. The craggy coastlines of Dubrovnik, or the exotic plants of the Galapagos and the food and the beaches all were just so incredible.”

Q: Longest plane ride you have been on?

A: “Hawaii probably. It was 13 hours long and I brought my two-year old with me too!”

Q: Do you prefer tropical or touristy vacation spots?

A: “Tropical for sure.”

Q: Would you rather relax on a beach or tour a historical city?

A: “Relax on a beach. That is my happy place.”

Q: Favorite meal on vacation?

A: “It was a restaurant called La Giostra in Florence, Italy. We ate in this very tiny cave-like restaurant with pretty lights and the food was outstanding. The food in Italy is outstanding.”

Q: Have you ever written about your travels?

A: “No, I have not actually. But my dream is to become a travel writer for Travel and Leisure magazine after I finish with this gig here at Algonquin.”
