Captain senior Caroline Leonard

Everyone is going to need to contribute to the team for us to be successful this season,” coach Mel Fustino said. “We won’t be relying on only one or two kids but it can be anyone on any given night that can come up big and I think that makes us a tougher team to play.”

“[Senior] Maddie Collins is an amazing and athletic player who will die for the ball,” senior Caroline Leonard said.

Outlook for 2015-2016 Season

“We understand the importance of working hard in practice and trying to get better every single day,” coach Melissa Fustino said. “We understand importance of team chemistry and realize each team is different from year to year. We don’t want to focus on the past but rather on what we are capable of doing this year. I’m excited to see the identity this year’s team takes on and I think we can have a very successful season.”

“There is a better chemistry with our team this year compared to last year; we should do a lot better,” Leonard said. “There is still a lot of work to be done, I still have to work on my shooting, and communication skills.”

Every year our goal is to make the playoffs and that hasn’t changed this year, but I also I expect us to work hard and try to improve every day,” Fustino said.
