Everyone loves a good Disney Channel show that brings back those nostalgic memories from the 2000s. #5: Wizards of Waverly Place

Starring Selena Gomez, “Wizards of Waverly Place” is about three teenage wizards living with their family in their apartment on Waverly Place. The show, following Alex Russo (Gomez), is creative with its many twists and turns that keep viewers on the edge of their seats.“Wizards of Waverly Place” has many positive messages, along with magic and mischief woven into the show. 

#4: Good Luck Charlie

Released in 2010, “Good Luck Charlie” follows the life of an all-American family: the Duncans. The show revolves around the family as they record a video diary for the unexpected and incoming child Charlie to look back at when she’s older. This large family is always a hotspot for conflict as there are many disagreements. However, the family always finds a way to grow from every issue they come across. This show has realistic family situations and likable characters which keeps the show going and makes it an entertaining watch. 

#3: Liv and Maddie

The iconic opposite twins Liv and Maddie (Dove Cameron) are high-schoolers with clashing “tomboy” and “girly-girl” personalities that lead them to live very different lives. Living in Wisconsin, Liv struggles to balance being a famous Hollywood star while also maintaining her life back home and prioritizing her relationship with Maddie. As a star basketball player, Maddie struggles to understand Liv’s lifestyle and her constant need to “fix” Maddie’s life. The steady drama, relationships and everyday lives of all of the characters make for an enjoyable and easy-to-watch show. 

#2: K.C. Undercover 

“K.C. Undercover” is coming in at number two due to its action-packed, suspenseful and comical plot. This series tells the story of a high-school genius named K.C. (Zendaya) who, after finding out about her parents’ spy work at the Organization, decides to become a teenage spy herself. Set in Washington D.C, K.C. goes on a number of adventures from fighting off corrupt government agents to putting a stop to animal poaching. There is never a dull moment in this Disney Channel original. 

#1: Jessie

The number-one best Disney Channel show is none other than “Jessie.” The show is about an aspiring actress named Jessie (Debby Ryan) who moves to New York City to pursue her dreams. During this journey, she unexpectedly finds herself moving into a multimillion-dollar penthouse and becoming a babysitter for four children. Throughout the four seasons of the show, Jessie and the kids form an unbreakable bond, and they became a big family. From plots about Jessie’s failed career and the kids’ high-maintenance needs to special holiday episodes and crossovers, “Jessie” never fails to deliver a comical and bright performance. It is one of Disney Channel’s longest-running shows and has a light-hearted feel for its viewers to enjoy.
