No. Trump hasn’t committed any misdemeanors

The 2020 election is just around the corner, and by exposing the President to the media the country can sway the results.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced formal impeachment proceedings for Trump’s alleged high crimes and misdemeanors on Sept. 24, 2019. The house then proceeded to conduct a series of closed door hearings looking into the issue.

President Trump is completely denying the allegations of misusing the office of President in regard to Ukraine. If the President did withhold aid, I think it warrants impeachment, however after reading the transcript myself I do not think he committed a high crime or misdemeanor. President Trump also has decided to not engage in the impeachment hearings, which I think is an excellent decision. He should not participate in a partisan witch hunt to tarnish his reputation and reverse the results of the 2016 election.

Secondly, I think she, many members of her party and the country are still aggressively unhappy with the results of the 2016 election. After the Mueller report was released without sufficient evidence of obstruction of justice, the party was searching for another avenue to damage the public opinion of Trump and reverse the results of the 2016 election. I think this alone is embarrassing for the democratic party. These liberal politicians are searching for any reason to impeach President Trump regardless of whether or not it truly makes sense, it is childish and pathetic.

Unfortunately these proceedings have diverted the President from his political agenda; he is spending more time on Twitter and speaking about impeachment at rallys rather than pushing his policy ahead of 2020. I hoped the President would have taken the high road: let his staff handle the impeachment, put his head down and got to work for the country, but instead he is storming Twitter.

I believe that every official elected to office decided to run because they love America. I believe President Trump is in the office because he wants to help every American and improve our country’s economic system. This being said, I also believe Speaker Pelosi is in her position because she loves our country. I think she decided to impeach because she thinks it is best for the country and she really believes in her cause.
