If you’re craving some really good Pho and Vietnamese food, head to  Pho Sure on 114 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury.

Pho Sure caters to omnivores, but in my case caters to vegetarian and vegans. When I found this out, I was very pleasantly surprised. It’s not every day a vegetarian comes across a restaurant that has a section in their menu that makes dishes for their diet.

Pho Sure had a very tranquil atmosphere with its ambient lighting and textured bamboo sticks sticking out of the seats creating barriers between booths to create a sense of privacy for its customers keeping conversations to confined corners.

I ordered the Udon Noodle Soup. It was good and very well prepared. With vibrant collard greens in the soup, and portions similar to a large bowl at Panera. It tasted fantastic, and very well spiced. I can’t think of one complaint. A popular dish for meat-eaters has to be the Pho Filet Mignon from what I have heard. Being a vegetarian, I would highly recommend the Udon Noodle Soup because of it’s amazing taste.

The waiters are exceptionally nice and treat you with the utmost respect. They are very funny and social. They make you feel as welcome as possible.

The pricing is definitely affordable for the type of restaurant. My plate came out to $9.50. Prices range from $2.95 to $10.95, depending on if you order a side or a full meal. The location is pretty convenient in White City Plaza; it’s easy to access from Northborough and Southborough.

Pho Sure is not your average fast food restaurant chain, but not somewhere you’d go for a very special occasion. It’s perfect for a quick lunch out with a parent or a few friends when you need to catch up.
