School tradition changed by color

“Unity through maroon,” written by Zoe Michas, head of the editorial board for the Algonquin Harbinger, wrote on students’ and faculty members’ view on the entire senior class of 2015 having to wear maroon for their graduation gown. By introducing direct beliefs from various people, it helped me really open up my mind to differing perspectives on this major change.

Most of the column was centered around others opinions and I thought that that was more vital to include in the Harbinger than Zoe just posting her personal opinion. Nice job to Zoe who, through just the column alone, seemed like she really took the time to delve into these gender-and-unity related issues.
