What do you expect from your students?
“I expect them to do their best work and to try and to work joyfully.”
Do you make any special dishes for the fall?
“When it gets cold I like to make things that are stewy, like lentils.
What’s your favorite smell?
“Oh, I have lots of them. I would say roses because I remember walking through some beautiful French rose gardens.”
What’s something you wish you’d never forgotten?
“I wish I remembered my first Christmas with my family.”
What are some of the first words that come to mind when you hear the word “autumn”?
“Leaves, color, fresh air.”
