“Probably AP Gov.”

“Probably Chemistry.”

“Ok!”

“I’m looking forward to more vacations, like less full weeks.”

“It was good.”

“I don’t know.”

What has been your proudest accomplishment so far?

“In term one I was happy I was able to accomplish maintaining athletics and academics. Alongside that I was able to join clubs which all together helped me meet more people.”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“English has been my most enjoyable class because I like to write. I also enjoy the way my teacher teaches.”

What has been your most challenging class?

“My most challenging class is definitely Algebra because I find that I work best with words instead of numbers. It is also a big change from middle school and I’ve had to learn to become more independent.”

What is one word to describe how Term 1 went for you overall?

“Challenging or new.”

What are you looking forward to next term?

“I look forward to indoor track and having the opportunity to improve my grades. I’m also excited for winter break and holiday cheer.”

“I would say my greatest accomplishment in Term 1 was doing well in my honors classes.”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“Mr. DeCosmo’s class [US History] because he makes the class much more enjoyable and fun.”

What has been your most challenging class?

“Spanish because I’m not very good at Spanish and learning a new language can be difficult for anyone.”

What is one word to describe how Term 1 went for you overall?

“Different because it’s hard to adjust to a new school and everything is different.”

What are you looking forward to next term?

“US History because it’s the most interesting subject to learn about because it’s our history.”

What has been your proudest accomplishment so far?

“I think my proudest accomplishment is probably making it through just because it’s been a struggle with certain classes.”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“My fashion design and retail class, definitely. It’s amazing actually, one thing we did was we made little cat toys, hand sewn, and we are delivering them to animal shelters.”

What is your most challenging class?

“Math, by far. A lot of it is trying to get into the rhythm of actually studying well rather than just reading the content.”

What is one word to describe term 1?

“Exhausting.”

What are you looking forward to next term?

“I’m looking forward to trying to get better grades in math.”

What has been your proudest accomplishment so far?

“Making National Social Studies Honor Society”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“Sports and Entertainment Marketing because I’m already interested in the topic, and in the class we do a lot of hands-on things. We create teams and apply marketing tools to sports teams.”

What is your most challenging class?

“Physics, because I chose to take honors, so it’s a faster-paced class and it’s very time-consuming. Physics is a hard thing for me to understand.”

What is one word to describe term 1?

“Fast because I feel like we started the year and then we had our first test and from there it went really fast. Also social events like football games went by fast, and other school events and clubs too.”

What are you looking forward to next term?

“Getting ready for midterms because then it’s a halfway point in the year, and we can recap on what we’ve learned. It means we are halfway done with the year.”

What has been your proudest accomplishment so far? 

“My proudest accomplishment is making my study habits better than they were in middle school so far. I accomplished this by really paying attention in class and making flashcards.”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“My most enjoyable class has probably been history or business. The teacher and the low-stress environment [of these classes are enjoyable], even though I love all my teachers this year.”

What has been your most challenging class?

“Probably Algebra 1 or biology.” 

What is one word to describe how Term 1 went for you overall?

“Enjoyable, the whole vibe of Algonquin is, I feel, overall much happier here, and I love how smooth everything runs.”

What are you looking forward to next term? 

“I’m looking forward to improving my grades, now that I know how Algonquin works.”

What has been your proudest accomplishment so far?

“Making my parents proud with my grades, I’ve been keeping my grades up lately by studying a lot and cramming before tests.”

What has been your most enjoyable class?

“I’ve really been enjoying my business fundamentals class because the projects we do in the class are really fun and I get to partner with my friends, which makes it easier and more social.”

What has been your most challenging class?

“Math has been a slight challenge for me, the new material isn’t so familiar, so I feel like I have to pay attention in class a lot more.”

What is one word to describe how Term 1 went for you overall?

“Lightwork, lightwork, no reaction if I could say three words.”

What are you looking forward to next term?

“I’m looking forward to just having fun and maybe relaxing.”
