Who were some key players on the team?
“Key players are goalie Addie Kagan. She’s a junior. She’s amazing, keeping us in every single game. There’s a lot of people who have really big roles, but some big scorers are junior Maddie Glenn from AMSA, and sophomore Aria Tice from Nashoba, and on defense senior captain Lauren O’Malley.”
What was a highlight of the season?
“We had a few overtime winners that were really exciting where we came back from being down and we worked together. I think it was in the Pope Francis team that we came back and another time and that was good.”
What was the most challenging part of the season?
“The most challenging part was at the beginning of the season building chemistry with everyone because we have five or six different schools that come together to form one team. So at the beginning of the season, it can be hard to get everyone to mesh and build chemistry, but we obviously eventually did.”
What’s your team dynamic like?
“It’s really good. Everyone’s friends with each other. We do a lot of team building stuff, like team dinners every week, or we’ll go get Chick-fil-A or go get Chipotle. We spend a lot of time together and everyone is friends.”
How did your postseason go?
“We lost in the second round to Medfield. It didn’t go exactly how we wanted, but it was still a good season.”
