Freshman Class President Ciara O’Sullivan is excited to make the impact the Class of 2028 needs.
O’Sullivan was recently elected by her classmates and is passionate about helping the community and others. She aims to represent her classmates and bring them together.
“I’m definitely going to advocate for what everyone wants, not just what I want,” O’Sullivan said.
Currently, O’Sullivan is organizing fundraisers for future events, and she intends to do a lot of group events. One of her ideas is a Crumbl Cookie fundraiser to bring students from Northborough and Southborough together.
“I want to try and be there to help rather than boss people around,” O’Sullivan said.
O’Sullivan promises that at the steering committee meetings she will make sure she hears from everyone and try to promote compromise. This year she is hoping for a united group to ensure the best for the Class of 2028.
Other freshmen class officers are vice president Hadley Anglim, treasurer Amanda Rosen and secretary Jane Belniak.
Rosen, who is excited to be treasurer for the year to come and is looking forward to planning out budgets, says O’Sullivan makes very good decisions, is a good leader and overall is a great fit for the position.
“She’ll impact her class positively because she has a strong voice,” Rosen said.
The officers are looking forward to more fundraisers and events.
“I hope to connect the Class of 2028,” O’Sullivan said.
