Top 5 places to go during study
June 7, 2022
We all look forward to senior year and taking advantage of senior privileges, such as leaving school during a study period. Whether you’re looking for something to eat or a spot to relax, here are our top five places to go during study.
#5: Hot Table
If you’re looking for a quick meal that is filling and delicious, Hot Table is the perfect place. With a wide selection of paninis, salads and soups it is guaranteed to satisfy your lunch cravings. Some of our favorites include the Chicken Pesto Panini ($10) and the Apple Walnut Salad ($11.15). Your friends will be begging you to bring them back something from this popular spot.
#4: Aero
If you want that Central Perk from Friends feel, Aero is a local business right outside of ARHS that provides that same homey cafe environment. With homemade pastries, smoothies, sandwiches, and coffee, Aero has a lot to offer. Its open seating invites you to enjoy your favorite items until you have to get back to school. However, it is a little pricey especially for seniors who can not always afford $7 coffees.
#3: Chauncy Lake
Just a five minute drive away, Chauncy Lake offers views, relaxation and a great location for students to unwind. Whether you go with friends or by yourself, it is a great place to take a break from the busy school environment. It’s a good idea to keep a blanket in your car to sit on and take in the views. In the warmer seasons, there are walking trails available to clear your head.
#2: Honey Dip
The famous bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich ($5) from Honey Dip attracts all students. Not to mention their strawberry banana smoothie ($5) that is now a staple for seniors to go pick up during study. The location is right around the corner from the school and students can even walk there if they want some exercise. You cannot beat the prices here and if you’re looking to make your classmates jealous, walk in with Honey Dip.
#1: Starbucks
For a quick and refreshing fix, Starbucks is the perfect place to go. With close proximity to ARHS, you are able to get delicious drinks quickly with lots of time left in your study. Another benefit of Starbucks is you are able to order ahead to get your drink even quicker than drive-thru. They also offer a wide variety of food perfect for the morning if you skipped breakfast at home. It also has a great workplace environment if you’re looking to get homework done. Our personal favorites include the Strawberry Açaí Refresher ($5) and the Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso ($6).
