Costa Rica bound

To enrich their knowledge of Spanish culture a group of students will travel to Costa Rica this April vacation.
While in Costa Rica the students will embark on various adventures including  a Spanish speaking school, zip lining, horseback riding, see a volcano, and attend a concert.
Although students will be participating in fun activities, “the main purpose of this trip is to educate the students on Spanish culture,” Nicole  DeMember head chaperone and Spanish teacher said.
When asked, most students said they were most excited for activities such as zip lining and horseback riding. Other students said this will be there first time out of the country.
“I’m excited to bond with my peers. From this trip I just hope to take away a fresh perspective on life,” Senior Daniel Willis said.
Many of the students who are attending this trip have been taking Spanish for as long as four years.
“I have been taking Spanish since Freshmen year and I would say I’m relatively fluent. I’m just glad to have a chance to exhibit my skills,” Senior Daniel Logan said.
“I have been taking Spanish since seventh grade, I wouldn’t say I’m exactly fluent I can’t speak fluently but I can understand when other people speak fluently around me,” Junior Gabby Kennedy said.
DeMember encourages any other students who have an interest in this trip to contact her as there are two spots open for those who wish to attend.
