Quarantine Q&A: Junior Wraven Watanabe

Sharada Vishwanath, Online Editor

This interview was done remotely due to COVID-19 precautions.

What have you enjoyed most about COVID-19 precautions and social distancing?

“What I’ve enjoyed most is finally having time for myself. I don’t have that much homework and I don’t have to go to school every day. It’s nice to be able to relax.”

What is the worst part of COVID-19 precautions and social distancing?

“Not being able to see any friends or family, that’s really sad and stressful.”

How have you been keeping yourself busy?

“I’ve been doing a lot of different things. My family has been gardening a lot. I’ve been drawing and painting my room. I’ve also been watching a lot of TV.”

What predictions, hopes or fears do you have?

“I’m afraid that we are going to be in quarantine for a really long time. I’m afraid that people aren’t going to be able to overcome this. A lot of states are reopening, which in my opinion is a bad idea.”

Where’s the first place you plan to go after quarantine has ended?

“Probably my grandparent’s house.”
