Quarantine Q&A: Freshman Anna Tattelman

Alyssa Sbordone, Staff Writer

This interview was done remotely due to COVID-19 precautions.

What have you enjoyed most about COVID-19 precautions and social distancing?

“I think it allows people more time to relax and sleep and lets them do activities at home that they wouldn’t normally have the time to do.”

What is the worst part about COVID-19 precautions and social distancing?

“It gets boring because after a few days you don’t have much to do and you don’t get to see your friends. It also stops your learning and slows down your curriculum, which isn’t good.”

How have you been keeping yourself busy?

“I have been facetiming people, cleaning my room, doing family movie nights and game nights and I also have been doing puzzles and baking a lot.”

What predictions, hopes or fears do you have?

“I fear that the virus is going to get so bad that people are going to have to shut down everything and we won’t be able to see anyone. Hopes that I have is that it is gradually going to start getting better and it won’t be scary to hang out with people or go shopping anymore.”

How has COVID-19 affected your everyday life?

“It has slowed my curriculum and has caused me to be more independent throughout the day and it has made me try to find things to occupy myself.”
