What are the differences between teaching freshman and juniors/seniors?

“The math background is very different. There is a big difference between teaching a freshman and a junior, in physics especially. It also feels that juniors are just more invested in their work.”

What is your favorite and least favorite subject to teach?

“My favorite subject would be physics, and I don’t have a least favorite considering I haven’t taught the other subjects in years.”

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of Algonquin?

“I enjoy traveling when not at school.”

What made you want to become a teacher?

“People just tend to like the way I explain things as I’ve been doing it since seventh grade.”

Favorite moment / memory from teaching?

“I love teaching something very hard where the kids need to trust you. Some kids will be struggling and then they finally get it. The little “aha” moment where it just clicks.”
