Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I had something else I wanted to wear for the first day of school but Old Navy did not deliver my package on time, so I’m beefing with UPS. I had to come up with something else and I bought this dress over the summer in Vermont. I was thinking about the end of the summer and I thought it was cute and fun. I always like to have some personality on the first day of school.”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“I bought it at this boutique in Burlington, Vermont. I think it was called Golden Hour.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for this school year? Will you be following the trends?

“I have been seeing a lot of things that I wore in middle school and early high school coming back. I do like to stay on the trends with the students. Some things might be too close to middle school [for me] to wear. I like to look at what people are wearing and see what is more adult and mature to wear.”
