Do you feel it is beneficial or necessary for Algonquin to have a new athletic complex? Why or why not? 

“I think it’s very beneficial for the school, as around 60% of students play a fall or spring sport. We will also be one of the few schools in the area with more than one turf field.”

What concerns do you have regarding Gonkplex? 

“I don’t have any concerns. I coach girls’ soccer in the fall and help out with lacrosse in the spring, and I think Gonkplex will be a great thing overall for the school.”

What are you most excited about regarding the potential new athletic complex? 

“For me, the most exciting thing is the turf field. As the girls’ soccer coach, it’s exciting to know that we will finally have a field with appropriate dimensions, as the field will be much wider. Another positive is that we will also be less affected by the weather.”
