How does it feel to be committed?

“It’s definitely a relief. I definitely got to get a jump start on the process, which was very nice. It’s nice to know all the work you put in and all the stuff you learned through high school you can now apply at the next level.”

What made you choose this school?

“It’s the perfect fit between academics and athletics. I really wanted a liberal arts school, and they had some of the majors that I was looking for, and it was just a good balance. I didn’t want it to be all sports all the time. I also wanted to have fun and study abroad, so that’s nice.”

What does it mean to you to play a sport in college?

“I am so competitive, and playing a sport is my way to use that kind of energy. I love the game, and I love my teammates, so I really just wanted to go into college with a family. I feel like the team will definitely give me that.”
