“All of the Project 2025 stuff. I feel like a lot of that is unnecessary.
Is there anything you wish Trump was doing differently?
“I wish he would focus on doing what’s right for the country, and not his family.”
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being fully supportive, how much do you support the actions of the Trump administration in the past three months? Why?
“I would literally say one. The actions of the Trump administration are actively taking away the rights of many groups of people and are enforcing the beliefs of white supremacy.”
Which of Trump’s actions do you most support? Why?
“Changing the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. This is one [action] that didn’t affect people. It didn’t actively hurt or take away the rights of anyone.”
Is there anything you wish Trump was doing differently?
“I just wish that he understood [Americans] aren’t just numbers of people to brag about, and that he didn’t see races as categories. I feel if he had a more human perspective, then that would affect his decisions.”
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being fully supportive, how much do you support the actions of the Trump administration in the past three months? Why?
“10, because a lot of the things he’s doing are definitely more of a long-term plan for economics and the tariffs. Right now, a lot of people are thinking that the stock market is crashing, but it’s also up net 80%, so it is crashing, but it’s going to go back up.”
Which of Trump’s actions do you most support? Why?
“The tariffs. I think that a lot of people think that it’s a bad idea, but if you know why he’s doing it, [the tariffs] are ok.”
Which of Trump’s actions do you least support? Why?
“He’s putting a lot of money into Elon Musk and [Artificial Intelligence], which I think is supportive, but it could be a little bit too much.”
Is there anything you wish Trump was doing differently?
“Not really.”
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being fully supportive, how much do you support the actions of the Trump administration in the past three months? Why?
“1.5. The whole tariffs thing. He doesn’t need to be taxing every single country in this whole world. His reasoning for this is that he wants to make the economy of the U.S. better, but it’s only making it harder for middle-class Americans, who voted for him because of his promises. It’s going to raise the prices of international [goods]. My parents were talking about it, and basically all the prices of food that we buy are going to be raised. Everything’s going to go up.”
“But also, he’s shutting down a bunch of government agencies like the USAID [United States Agency for International Development]. He’s also bringing down the powers of the government, like the FBI, which would just make the whole country less secure.”

“I do agree that we need to be more strict with immigration and borders because people shouldn’t be entering illegally, in my opinion. There should be more ways for people to enter legally, but I think there should be stricter policies on illegal immigration. But, I think his whole thing with deporting people who haven’t even done anything wrong is bad.”
Which of Trump’s actions do you least support? Why?
“I totally disagree with his trade war and about him deporting Venezuelans who don’t even have a strong criminal record into [an El Salvadoran prison,] some of the highest maximum security prisons in the whole world. I just don’t understand it.”
Is there anything you wish Trump was doing differently?
“I wish he was using the Supreme Court better. Well, this isn’t exactly Trump, but the Supreme Court is now basically an extension of Trump. If Trump brings something up to the Supreme Court, they [agree with him]. It’s not even a check on the presidency anymore.”

“I give him a one because what he is currently doing is too extreme and it’s not going to work.”

“He gave abortion rights back to the independent states for them to decide.”

“His tariffs and what he’s doing with ICE, he has no idea what he’s doing.”

“Not being as extreme as he is and realize that what he’s doing isn’t working and just stopping.”

“One, because he is dismantling the federal bureaucracy and removing necessary programs such as USAID and PEPFAR [U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief].”

“No. I honestly don’t support a single thing he has done.”

“He’s illegally deporting people who disagree with him, which is unconstitutional.”

“Everything, he is outright denying science by putting an anti-vaxxer in charge of HHS [United States Department of Health and Human Services].”

“Two. As an environmental major, I am terrified by the actions of the Trump Administration and I hope things turn for the better.”
