Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I chose to wear my outfit because it’s vibrant. It’s bright. I think seeing these colors was kind of a positive way to start my day and hopefully carry throughout the day.”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“This whole fit was 20 bucks at Marshalls, top and bottom. It came as a set.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for this school year? Will you be following the trends?

“I probably won’t be following the trends, just because if it was the trends, I think it’s going to be baggier type clothes. It’s very comfy and informal, so probably not as a teacher, but maybe at my house. That’s my prediction.”

Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I’m a khaki and polo shirt kind of guy. I just pulled out my maroon shirt because it’s Algonquin and I wanted to pull out my school colors.”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“I think these are all from Kohl’s.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for this school year? Will you be following the trends?

“I never follow trends. I always go against the trends. I have no idea what the trends are, but I think I’ve noticed things coming back that were more from the ‘90s. I think we are seeing our 20-year cycle happening. I’m not a fashion guru so you may not want to base your predictions off of me.”

Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I had something else I wanted to wear for the first day of school but Old Navy did not deliver my package on time, so I’m beefing with UPS. I had to come up with something else and I bought this dress over the summer in Vermont. I was thinking about the end of the summer and I thought it was cute and fun. I always like to have some personality on the first day of school.”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“I bought it at this boutique in Burlington, Vermont. I think it was called Golden Hour.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for this school year? Will you be following the trends?

“I have been seeing a lot of things that I wore in middle school and early high school coming back. I do like to stay on the trends with the students. Some things might be too close to middle school [for me] to wear. I like to look at what people are wearing and see what is more adult and mature to wear.”

Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I wear blue jeans every day, so that doesn’t really change. I always wear the same shoes and the same jeans, but not the actual same pair of jeans. I changed the shirt, and I just chose what was ironed.”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“DSW for the shoes. They were actually in the women’s section on clearance, because I looked online and they said they had them in the store but I couldn’t find them. I found them in women’s because they’re kind of unisex, and they were on clearance too, so 30% off. Amazon for the jeans, for shirts, Marshalls and TJ Maxx.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for the school year, and will you be following the trends?

“No, I won’t be following the trends. I have no idea about fashion trends. It’s kind of outside of my world.”

Why did you choose to wear this for the first day of school?

“I wanted to wear an outfit that would be super comfy with pockets and be me. But mostly comfy with pockets!”

Where did you purchase the clothing you’re wearing?

“My shoes are Toms, they were having a sale for their new Frida Kahlo collection. The dress is FatFace, which is a terrible name, but such cute clothing. I also have a Hufflepuff pin that really ties the whole look together.”

What are your fashion trend predictions for this school year? Will you be following the trends?

“As the year goes on, everyone will realize that they just have to be comfy all the time…Yes, I just bought my first pair of Crocs.”
