Sophomore Alex Qi
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “I think that the new cell phone policy here is pretty valid because we need to focus on learning rather than using our phones in class”
Freshman Eshan Naik
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “It’s fine. It’s a little bit annoying when teachers make you put your phone in your pocket.”
Freshman Abi Southey
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “I am not a fan of the cell phone policy. I think that we should be allowed to use our phones in the hallway.”
Senior Isabelle McNulty
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “I think it’s good that teachers don’t let students be on their phones all the time, but I also feel like it’s not necessary to take them away. It is your property so I don’t think teachers should be able to take it.”
Instructional Support Aid Jon Cahill
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “ I think it’s necessary for genuine learning to occur. For that to happen cell phones cannot cause a distraction. However there are times and places where it is appropriate.”
Sophomore Paige Kelsey
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “It’s interesting because it feels a bit like middle school, having a big restriction. I don’t notice that much of a difference in class because people sneak on their phones so to me it is kind of pointless that there is a strict rule.”
Junior Marie Roberts

Junior Adam Guggina
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “I think they’re fine. I don’t really follow them. Nobody really does. But the WiFi is terrible and is a bigger blocker of cell phone use than the policies.”
English Teacher Virginia Fitzgerald
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “It doesn't feel that different to me. I think typically teachers each have their own expectations for their own classes.”
Sophomore Lily Szabo
What do you think of this year’s cell phone policies? “I think the two classes I take that have cell phone policies aren't very good.”
Junior Aiden Ruiz
