Danielle Adams, basketball
Committed to: Bates
How does it feel to be committed?
“It’s definitely a huge relief. I committed pretty early and definitely feel lucky that I didn’t have to go through a lot of the college application process like a lot of my friends.”
What made you choose this school?
“The culture really stood out to me at Bates. Everyone from the coach, to the players, the team and the faculty in the Bates community were genuine. I felt like I would truly succeed academically and athletically as they encourage well-rounded student-athletes.”
What does it mean to you to play a sport in college?
“It means so much to me. It’s something I’ve been looking forward to since middle school, something I’ve worked for, and it’s great to see that dedication pay off.”
