What do you like best about working as a special education aide?

“I  really like to interact with the kids and really like teaching them [students]… It just makes me feel good.”

What do you do over the course of a day as an aide?

“In one period I have a learning center. What we do is help kids with homework, specifically math or the  sciences. I mostly interact with them. If they don’t understand something, I’ll try to teach them. In other classes, I go to all science classes such as chemistry. or physics.”

What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your job this year?

“Not really anything hard. Everything is smooth and good. Nothing is hard or challenging.”

What do you think about working at ARHS?

“It’s good. It’s a really good experience. This is my first year experiencing high school learning. I really like it.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I never have free time. I have to work a lot. I never have free time. But if I do have free time, I like to watch movies and read books and walk outside.”

What would your students be surprised to learn about you?

“Nothing Special. I always like learning from science classes because it is my subject, mainly chemistry. But it doesn’t matter because I always get excited with science.”
