Girls’ lacrosse players reflect on best moments of the season

“My favorite moment of the season was beating Minnechaug. The team really came together, and everyone contributed. It was really fun to beat them on the road, and I’m looking forward to our playoffs.”

“I think the best moment from the season was definitely beating Minnechaug [Regional High School.] For the past couple of years, we have been losing to them, and I would say they are one of our biggest competitors. The game was also extremely hot, so it made it all worthwhile after we came out with a win.” 

“My favorite moment was celebrating our seniors and beating Grafton [High School on their senior night]” 

“Hanging out with the underclassmen has been great this season, especially [junior] Delaney Cosentino, who has been a great defender.”

“I loved just meeting new people and creating bonds with my teammates I didn’t have before.” 

"Assisting [senior] Morgan Potter in her first goal of the season was definitely my favorite moment. She is usually a defender, so the first time she was on attack she scored which was really exciting.”
