Senior Emma Stott (Stand-Alone Remote learner)
How do you feel about doing stand-alone remote while most students head back to the building for in-person learning?
“While I do miss going to school during normal times, I think remote is the best choice for me and my family during this abnormal period. I hope that later in the year the situation will improve and we can go back to school as we did before all of this.”
Are you optimistic about how an increase in asynchronous learning will work? Why or why not?
“In my opinion, asynchronous learning is not ideal. It’s much easier and more engaging to be in a classroom. However, I think it is the best way for students and teachers to safely connect during this time. Its the only way we were able to continue our education back when the school closed in the spring, and we are still relying on it during hybrid this fall.”
