Q&A with senior captain Nick Cammarano

What is your goal for the team this year?

“[Our goal is] to get a group of four to States.  We haven’t been able to do that in the past couple of years and I think that’s definitely achievable this year.”

As a team, what do you need to do in the pre-season (and throughout the season) to achieve this goal?

“We just need to do some basic drills to get some of the rust off and then we’ll start going through the course within the next couple of weeks.”

Who are some of the strongest returning players and why?

“[Senior] Jason Michalik and myself are the top seniors and then we have two juniors, Sam Martin and Tyler Beauchesne who are both very good.”

Who do you think will be your toughest competition this year and why?

“I don’t really look against competition every week, but Westborough and St. John’s have had historically good teams.  Getting on top of them would be nice.”
