John Frederick was my English teacher at Gardner Junior High School in 1994-95, and Social studies teacher the year before that. We must have been his very first two classes of his career. I remember him being a really great teacher, and just a really cool guy even back then. He was an enthusiastic and supportive soccer coach as well. I ran cross country and track, but occasionally I would watch the games or practices. I’m glad to see he has moved on to much bigger and better things in his career and is doing well. He certainly deserves it.
