Larissa Andrade, Staff Writer

Q: How many hours do you spend in school a day?
A: “I’m here at 6:00 in the morning, and I’m usually here around until 4:00-4:30.”

Q: What are your hobbies outside of school?
A: “Tennis, exercising, reading, and hanging out with my family.”

Q: What is your favorite part about being a teacher?
A: “Being in the classroom with the kids.”

Q: How do you feel about global warming?
A: “It’s real and I was an environmental civil engineer so I did a lot of work with the environment. I helped clean up dirty sights, so it’s a real big issue for me. It’s a real problem. People who deny it, looking at all the facts, we have to change our behaviors as society to help slow that down.”
