What do you like best about working as a special education aide?

“I like working with the kids and seeing their improvements every day. Every day is different and working in different subjects and working with different kids is very enjoyable and rewarding.”

What do you do over the course of a day as an aide?

“I have classes that I work as a co-teacher and I have other classes where I work with kids during small group work and then I work in learning centers where I help kids in there to study for tests and quizzes.”

What are the biggest challenges you’ve faced in your job this year?

“I would say getting back into a normal schedule with there being no remote anymore, which is great, but it’s great to get everyone back on the schedule and getting used to being back into school five days a week and doing a lot of work.”

What do you think about working at ARHS?

“I love it. I’ve been working here for eleven years, so I really enjoy it. It’s a great school to work at, great co-workers, great students and it’s just a great building in general.”

What do you like to do in your free time?

“I coach baseball. So I coach the Northborough Legion team in the summer here and then I coach at Franklin High School which is where I’m from. It’s great to be able to work at the school it gives you flexibility with hours to be able to coach as well ”

What would your students be surprised to learn about you?

“Probably that I have worked here for eleven years. I lot of the kids think that I’m a lot younger. I’ve worked here for so long and it’s just been a great experience. I just want to keep working here and keep getting better and better.”
