Sadly, my Coffee Shop Quest has come to a close for this school year. Although my blog definitely took a turn, as I was planning on trying out and reviewing local coffee shops but could no longer due that come mid-March, I still enjoyed continuing my blog through at home recipes.
As places start to slowly reopen, coffee shops are beginning to have take out services and possible delivery services. It is important to look up the coffee shop beforehand if you plan to go there, as most are open, but some still remain closed or have limited hours. Most coffee shops in Northborough and Southborough such as Lalajava and Red Barn do not permit dine-in services at this time.
Some coffee shops also may offer outdoor seating if they have the space and facilities to do so. On Monday, June 8, Governor Charlie Baker announced phase two of Massachusetts’s reopening plan, meaning outdoor seating at restaurants is permitted following social distancing precautions.
I hope you found my blog interesting and useful if you are a coffee lover like me. Possibly in the near future, coffee shops will be back to normal with their hours and services. For now, keep experimenting with your own coffee, and if you feel comfortable, order a coffee from a local coffee shop! It’s great to support local businesses, even if it is just by buying an iced coffee.
